Hi, my name is Jordan, and I am a third year chemical and bioprocess engineering student in
University College Dublin. I have a keen interest in the development of alternative energy systems
and how chemical engineering can be applied to offer potential solutions.
During my internship with the UCD Chemical and Energy Recycling Lab one of the projects I have
been working on is developing an algae photo bioreactor to investigate waste product treatment
and biomass production. After my internship this summer, I intend on continuing my studies with
a master’s degree in chemical and bioprocess engineering.
